History of Quittin’ Time Beer:

 

QuikTrip’s Vice President of Marketing, Wyatt Phillips, was finishing a long workday in 1977 when Chester Cadieux walked by his office. Chester waved and Wyatt said “It’s Quittin’ Time.”

Wyatt heard Chester stop, turn around, and poke his head into the office. He knew immediately what Chester was thinking. After weeks of struggling and brainstorming, QuikTrip’s proprietary beer had the perfect name: Quittin’ Time.

 

Now, almost four decades removed from its first run in the late 70’s and 80’s, Quittin’ Time Premium Beer is back on QuikTrip shelves in Tulsa, OK!
